You Know, “running a business…”

As soon as I tell somebody that I’m starting a business with several friends – I get a question: “what kind of business”. And here a difficult part starts… At this early stage of 101senses it’s pretty difficult to explain what we’re trying to do, what we’ll be in 1-3 years, what motivates us, etc. In fact, when I take a moment and think about it then things become quite straightforward and clear. So let me describe what 101senses is all about.

What do you need when you start a company? A concept? A business plan? Team bonding sessions? Bullocks! What you need is a logo! So without further ado, I created an account on logotournament.com and posted a description of what we wanted to see in our logo... or something like that.

Some Experience With Google Wave

For my personal projects I’ve got Trac setup (OForge to be more precise). Recently with several friends we started working on a new project – 101senses.ch – and for it we adopted Google Wave as a collaboration tool.

Actually we started with the wiki on Trac. But after jumping on the wave wiki naturally became obsolete, old fashioned, inconvenient.

Once upon a time there was a king, there was a queen and there were gods of Olympus. Once upon a time there was a magical forest and fairies. Wizards inhabited this world of magic and “ants” were climbing to one’s mind when he was hearing a story of a giant living in the cave. There was a land of gold with houses of cristal and sand of diamonds, El Dorado. There were heroes and monsters, there was the edge of the world. We all lived on a big plate in the center of the Universe.

So ! Why a blog ? Well ... First of all, everyone has a blog, so why would I want to stand out ? Second of all, I have things to say! I do! I don't mind if no one ever reads it, at least there is a slight chance that someone could, by pretty badly misspelling some other website, land on this page. Last of all, I need to learn how to write! I suck at it and it's time I learn!
